5 of my favorite hairstylists

As a new stylist it's super important to stay inspired and keep growing. Instagram provides an incredible source of creativity and community for our industry. I'm constantly finding new artists that give me that spark to push myself. Here are my top 5 current favorite hairstylists that I follow on Instagram!

1. Brian Hickman

Talk about someone who really knows his way around a face shape! I was lucky enough to meet Brian and get my haircut by him. Experiencing the work firsthand of someone you admire is the ultimate way to connect and learn.

2. Ursula Goff

Ursula's color creations are otherworldly and a standard to live up to. Her work is influenced by elements of nature and works of art. She even recreated Van Gogh's Starry Night on a panel of hair. Incredible!

3. Sabrina Djikman

If you need up-do inspo for your Pinterest board, this is the place to go. Sabrina's hairstyles are etherial with soft details perfect for a bride, or an elevated everyday look.

4. Maksim Nikitochkin

Maksim makes amazing YouTube videos with haircutting guides build right in. His modern take on haircutting is refreshing and his style is attention grabbing.

5. Ryoji Imaizumi

A true creative, Ryoji uses unconventional materials to create editorial looks on his models. Toy soldiers, rubber bands, flowers, and even jean scraps.
